Exciting Update for the Acacia University community!
Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in USA, including Acacia University, have recently been updated in the IAU World Higher Education Database (WHED). The International Association of Universities’ World Higher Education Database (WHED) is globally recognized as a reliable source that provides information on more than 21,000 higher education institutions (HEIs) in 196 countries and territories such as degrees, divisions, statistics, qualifications, contact details, information on the academic year, admission requirements, student life, and more!
The importance of the WHED has been reinforced in the recent context of the UNESCO Global Convention on the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications, which was submitted for adoption at the 2019 UNESCO General Conference. This Convention aims to increase the transparency of the global higher education landscape at the global level and to enhance stakeholder orientation through the ever expanding field of higher education by providing a standard for the listings of accredited higher education institutions.
