Faculty Choice Distinguished Student Award – Selection Criteria
Recipients of this award are chosen based on the following criteria:
- Academic Excellence
- Maintains consistent high performance in all course
- Has a current cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Has earned at least 15 credits (Master’s Programs) or 30 Credits (Doctoral Program)
- Has had no academic warnings, plagiarism, or violations of AI policies
- Upholds school values with no student code of conduct violations
- Character and Behavior
- Exhibits positive behavior and ethical conduct
- Fosters positive and respectful interactions with peers and faculty
- Leadership and Initiative
- Assumes leadership roles within the virtual community
- Provides research-based recommendations to peers and faculty through VLCs and virtual meetings
- Attendance and Punctuality
- Submits all work on time
- Participates consistently in online activities
